The humorous and satirical art not only provides an entertaining view of Danish history from the constitution in 1849 to today, but it also characterizes humor and satire as a core element of the Danish national spirit.

Practical information

  • Accessibility - Wheelchair access from the street is only possible via a portable ramp and requires assistance. The museum does not have an elevator to the first floor and does not offer an accessible restroom for individuals with disabilities.

  • Strollers and Prams - These cannot be brought around in the exhibitions. However, we have room for up to 2 units just inside the entrance according to the staff's instructions.

  • Animals - Only guide dogs and approved service dogs are allowed
